Professional Otolaryngology

EDUCATION

The professional staff of POA takes an active role in the training of both medical students and otolaryngology residents from Thomas Jefferson University, as well as family practice residents from the  Virtua Health System. In addition our professional staff is always available to participate in community health services such as talks to non-medical groups and schools as well as health fairs. Free hearing screenings are given periodically during the year.

The doctors of POA have had a long standing relationship with the West Jersey Health System now part of Virtua Health. In addition to being on the active medical staff, some of our physicians serve on various hospital committees as well as the board of trustees. Other members of our professional staff have taken an active role in our county and state medical societies. All of our physicians have academic appointments at Thomas Jefferson University and Drs. Roncace and Sumerson are members of the professorial faculty.
